One year ago today my mum died of bowel cancer. Our last photo together is from 6 years ago, despite us being in touch and having a good relationship. It is one of my biggest regrets that we didn't take more.

My message to you: take photos with your loved ones. Make videos. Record voice notes. Your memory is not flawless. After only 365 days I've forgotten her laugh, even though I heard it every day for 30 years.
